We open May 15th and close September 15th

Check-in: 2:00 PM or later. Early check-in may incur additional fees.

Check-out: 11:00 AM. Sites must be cleaned and vacated by this time.

Arts, Crafts, tie-dye, canoe, and kayak rentals.

Cabin rental rates include the designated number of guests the unit can accommodate. For example, if a cabin sleeps six, the rental price covers six guests. If you’d like to bring additional guests beyond the cabin’s capacity, please contact the campground to discuss availability. If accommodations are possible, additional fees may apply based on the situation.

Our campsites are priced for two adults and up to 4 dependent children (under 21). Occupancy of a campsite shall not exceed four adults with a maximum of 8 people per site. Extra charges will apply to additional guests on sites.

Motorcycles, ATVs, and other motorized vehicles may only be used to enter and exit the campground. Golf carts must be driven only by licensed drivers and must be insured.

Boats may not be moored in designated swim areas.Trailers and boats are not allowed at campsites. Please check with the office for storage options.

Day visitors are $5 per person, while those staying both for the day and overnight are $10 per person. Please note that there is a maximum limit on the number of overnight guests allowed per campsite. Visitors are not permitted to bring pets.

Yes, we have coin-operated laundry facilities conveniently located at the bathhouse.

Quiet Hours are from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, voices, music, and other noise must be kept to a minimum during designated quiet hours.

We welcome well-behaved pets! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, pet owners must adhere to the following:

General Rules:

  1. Leashes Required – All pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside.

  2. Supervision – Pets must never be left unattended at campsites, in vehicles, or in cabins.

  3. Clean Up After Your Pet – Owners must pick up pet waste immediately and dispose of it properly.

  4. Aggressive Behavior – Any pet displaying aggression or excessive barking may be asked to leave. Behavior, not breed, determines removal.

  5. Vaccinations – Pets must be up to date on rabies and other required vaccinations. Proof may be requested.

  6. Restricted Areas – Pets are not allowed in restrooms, playgrounds, beach areas, or other posted locations.

Only registered campers are permitted to have pets on the property. Visitors are not allowed to bring pets into the campground.

When you book with us, you are guaranteed the site type you selected. However, if you prefer a specific site number or location, you can secure it with our Site Lock Fee. This ensures you get your preferred spot for a more personalized camping experience.

Honey Run Beach & Campground (referred to as “the Campground”), its Owners, and Management assume no responsibility for the use of grounds or facilities. All guests assume full responsibility for their safety, as well as that of their family members and visitors. The Campground is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Management reserves the right to evict any guest, without refund, who violates these rules or engages in behavior detrimental to the safety, health, or welfare of others. By making a reservation or registering, guests acknowledge they have read and agree to these rules.

These rules may be updated as necessary.

Alcohol must be consumed responsibly. Disorderly behavior will not be tolerated. No alcohol consumption is allowed by individuals under 21. Glass containers are prohibited in beach areas.

Campers must maintain a clean and orderly site. Management has sole discretion in determining acceptable site conditions. Only one gas grill (with a grease catcher) is allowed per site.

  • Bicycles and non-motorized wheeled transport must return to campsites by dusk.
  • Maine law requires all cyclists under 16 to wear helmets.
  • Bicycles are prohibited in buildings or restricted areas.
  • Boats may not be moored in designated swim areas.
  • Trailers and boats are not allowed at campsites. Please check with the office for storage options.
  • Fires must be contained within designated fire rings.
  • Moving fire rings requires management approval.
  • Fires must never be left unattended, and ashes must not be dumped in the woods.
  • Check-in: 2:00 PM or later. Early check-in may incur additional fees.
  • Check-out: 11:00 AM. Sites must be cleaned and vacated by this time.

The use, display, or possession of firearms, fireworks, explosives, weapons, or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Violations result in immediate eviction and notification of authorities.

  • Firewood is available for purchase at the store.
  • Cutting trees on campground property is prohibited.
  • Firewood must be stored at least 10 feet from fire rings.

Golf carts must be driven only by licensed drivers and must be insured.

Discharging gray or black water onto the ground is prohibited by law. Use designated dump stations.

Motorcycles, ATVs, and other motorized vehicles may only be used to enter and exit the campground.

  • Gatherings of 10+ people must be registered with the office.
  • The pavilion is available for reservation.
  • All deposits/payments must be made in advance with remaining balance to be paid in full at check in; refunds are made in accordance with the cancellation policy
  • Seasonal fees must be paid by May 15 to avoid loss of site privileges.
  • Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
  • Voices, music, and other noises must be kept at a minimum.

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult in restroom and shower facilities.

The speed limit throughout the campground is 5 MPH for all vehicles, bicycles, and motorized transport.

  • Beach hours: 9:00 AM – dusk.
  • Swimming is at your own risk.
  • Children under 14 must be supervised.
  • No glass containers are allowed on the beach.
  • Swim diapers are required for toddlers; regular diapers are prohibited.
  • Dumpsters are for household campsite trash only.
  • Large items, appliances, and personal items must not be disposed of in campground dumpsters.
  • Do not cut, trim, nail, or damage trees.
  • Only rope or bungee cords may be used for securing items.
  • Only registered vehicles are allowed.
  • Maximum of two vehicles per campsite; additional vehicles must use visitor parking.
  • Vehicle maintenance (oil changes, repairs) is prohibited on-site.
  • Visitors must be registered upon arrival and are subject to a fee.
  • Day visitors are $5 per person, while those staying both for the day and overnight are $10 per person.
  • Unregistered guests will incur a penalty fee.
  • Visitors are not permitted to bring pets.
  • Day visitors must leave by 8:00 PM unless registered as overnight guests.
  • A maximum of 8 people is allowed per campsite at any time.

Violations may result in fines or removal from the campground without refund. Management reserves the right to amend this policy.

Decks & Platforms

  • Decks require prior approval and must not extend beyond the camper length or 10 feet outward.

Electricity Usage

  • Seasonal sites are metered; monthly fees apply based on usage.
  • Payments are due by the 15th of each month, with a $10 late fee for overdue accounts.

Grass & Landscaping

  • Seasonal campers must maintain their site’s grass and landscaping.

Storage & Sheds

  • Storage sheds (maximum 42 sq. ft.) require prior approval.

Spring Cleanup

  • Seasonal campers must complete site cleanup between May 15 – Memorial Day.

Site Transfers & Sales

  • Trailers may be sold separately from sites. Prospective buyers must be approved by management.

By entering Honey Run Beach & Campground, guests agree to abide by these rules. Management reserves the right to update policies as needed.

Cancellation & Refund Policies

There is always a $25 service fee on any canceled reservation.

We will be happy to return all of your deposit to you, less a $25 service fee, provided you give us at least 30 days’ notice.

If you need to cancel your reservation, we will refund your deposit as follows:

90 days or more prior to arrival-100% minus $25 service fee
60 to 89 days prior to arrival-75% minus $25 service fee
30-59 days prior to arrival-50% minus $25 service fee

Reservations will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. No shows will result in full forfeiture of funds.
